Unlike past versions, this season's Actuator Jacket by Arc'teryx Veilance is rendered in Gore-Tex. The understated exterior, drop hand pockets, adjustable hood and elastic cuffs remain, but the textile upgrade takes the lightweight style up a notch in terms of versatility. Equally appealing is the navy blue colour option, which offers something a little more unique than black.

Adidas Originals x Spezial, a capsule collection of clothing and footwear by Gary Aspden with a particular focus on the German brand's rich history in leisurewear, was launched last season. The Spring-Summer '15 offering will be available at the end of this month, but many of the new pieces can be seen in a film by Nick Griffiths and &SON Films, released yesterday via SHOWstudio. Marking his first return to Paris since the final Number (Nine) presentation in 2009, Takahiro Miyashita previewed The Soloist offering for Autumn-Winter '15 over the weekend. In a reference to the colours favoured by John Lennon during the Double Fantasy period, the collection, entitled INTRO., features a strict black and white palette. Seen here as part of select looks, it also includes a series of intricate masks by Shin Murayama, constructed primarily from cowboy boots.

Padmore & Barnes Original P204 and P404

Between 1964 and 1987 Padmore & Barnes was owned by Clarks, and when the Wallabee was introduced in 1967 it was made at their Kilkenny factory. For the next 20 years the Irish shoe manufacturer produced what is often considered the finest version of this style. The Wallabee is still part of the Clarks offering today, but like so many iconic designs it has drifted from its original form over the years. During this time Padmore & Barnes have quietly continued to make their own option, and those wanting the best possible rendition of this classic silhouette should look no further than the P204 and P404 models.
